Leader TRAINING:

The first step in Cub Scout Leader training are the three basic courses available online at  http://www.mtcbsa.org/training.htm

These courses are: Youth Protection, Cub Scout Leader Fast Start, and This Is Scouting.

If you are a Pack Leader in an "official" position, such as Tiger Den Leader, Cub Den Leader, Webelos Den Leader, Committee Member, or Cubmaster, you need to have

Leader Specific Training.

Leader Specific Training can also be done on-line at any time, however this class is also offered in-person.  The next Leader Specific Training for our District is September 18, 2010.  The training schedule is available at the www.mtcbsa.org website.  You may attend this training in another District if it is more convenient for you.
